COUNCILLORS will meet with M65 bosses next week to discuss the possibility of changing the Services sign to Darwen.
MSA Services managing director, Andrew Long, has agreed to meet with Sunnyhurst ward councillor, Dave Smith, and Darwen MP Janet Anderson, next Wednesday.
The parties will meet at the Darwen Services -- which has been named after Blackburn.
Coun Smith said: "I will put the plans for the boycott on hold because we have to see what Mr Long is going to say.
"If we don't get a satisfactory response and if we don't reach a compromise then we will go ahead with the boycott."
The managing director revealed last week that naming the services after Blackburn followed the regulations of the national network.
He said: "We are not doing it on purpose to antagonise the public.
"And we understand how they feel but it fits within the framework and it's not likely that we will change it."
