Radcliffe Borough 4, Wakefield & Emley 1: RADCLIFFE Borough enjoyed a comfortable victory thanks to an unlikely hat-trick from Gary Sampson.
Borough's neat football saw them dominate the game from start to finish and Sampson set them on their way with a ninth-minute opener -- a clinical finish after a 40-yard run in which he beat two men.
Borough extended their lead a minute before the break when the Emley 'keeper failed to hold Jody Banim's drive and Sampson followed up to score again.
The youngster completed his hat-trick shortly after the break with a carbon copy of the opening goal. And Borough made the game safe on 68 minutes when substitute Eamonn Elliott turned home a low cross.
Emley grabbed a late consolation through Bambrook late in the game.
Borough travel to Runcorn on Tuesday night before heading to Frickley Athletic on Saturday.
