ON Friday, August 15, while he was at Ramsbottom Pool, our 11-year-old son had his wallet stolen.

Two "bigger boys" were seen walking out with it, according to other children. It contained what was left of his holiday money and a couple of other items with his name on. He was understandably very upset by the incident and has learned an extremely tough lesson.

We would ask other parents to warn their children to be extra vigilant. In fact, if the culprits read this, maybe they could return the wallet anonymously to the baths. Having said that, if they had a conscience, they wouldn't have taken it in the first place!
