THE BOSS of a motorcycle dealership had to tackle a fire in his store after arsonists threw a flaming bottle of petrol through the front door.
The owner of First Choice, in Farrington Court, a Mr Nelthorpe, was working in his office at the company on Farrington Road industrial estate, Burnley, when his business was attacked.
He managed to put the flames out before the police and fire brigade arrived and there was only minor damage to the shop entrance. A blue Ford Mondeo was seen leaving the scene after the fire.
Police said they are pursuing various lines of enquiry to hunt down the offender but they are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened on Thursday, at around 5.30pm.
Officers said they are trying to establish a motive for the attack.
