AN inquest has opened into a man found dead in Rivington reservoir.
Phillip Strike, aged 24, of Kent Street, Leigh, was discovered in the water last Thursday, Preston Coroners' Court heard on Tuesday.
Coroner Howard McCann said passers-by heard a splash and alerted police. The inquest has been adjourned.
