A COLNE primary school has become the first of 19 centres in the area to provide community access to computers.
Sacred Heart RC School, in Red Lane, has been given four new computers which will be solely for the use of staff, governors, parents and the wider adult community.
Pendle Community Network and local firm Northern Technologies are behind the project although funding has come from Pendle Partnership and the Learning and Skills Council.
Maureen Singleton, co-ordinator of the Pendle Community Link project, said: "By taking technology into existing community locations, the project hopes to reach individuals and encourage them to become able to use technology."
