THE key moments and player ratings from the game against Watford.

BURNLEY RATINGS

BRIAN JENSEN: A few dodgy punches underlined his uncertainty on crosses, but he showed good positional sense to make some saves6

DEAN WEST: Constantly wasted possession and his attempts to get forward proved fruitless. Also struggled to keep tracks with Danny Webber at times5

DAVID MAY: Even when he's not at his best he still leads by example, although an early mis-kick almost proved costly and he was close to an own goal too6

ANDY TODD: Covered competently when Watford tried to counter attack and hardly put a foot wrong. Did his job well7

MO CAMARA: Another sturdy performance at left back, even though he was often left exposed on the flank6

LUKE CHADWICK: Looking more and more of a dangerous threat in the opposition's penalty box. Took his goal well and was unfortunate not to have another8

PAUL WELLER: Good battling display in midfield, he buzzed around the Hornets but didn't use possession as well as he could have6

GARETH FARRELLY: Over-run in midfield during the first half, then faded out in the second when he picked up an injury5

ROBBIE BLAKE: Terrible penalty, but he still showed flashes of skill and creativity that troubled Watford7

IAN MOORE: Some lively bursts into the area, but he lacked support. One good run was rewarded by there being no Burnley player within a mile of the penalty area7

DELROY FACEY: Not really getting the run of the ball or the chances, but when he's taking long throw-ins it's not surprising6

SUBS: RICHARD CHAPLOW (for Farrelly 71) A bright spark. 7; GRAHAM BRANCH (for May, 78); NOT USED: LEE ROCHE, MATTY O'NEILL
