WORKERS and customers from the Blackburn branch of Asda are preparing to put on their walking boots next week to take part in the 'Walking the Way to Health Initiative'.
The walk is to take place at 10.30am on Tuesday, October 7.
It will start at Asda and go along part of the canal and take in the local sights.
Carole Davis, events co-ordinator, said: "We thought this was a fun and healthy way of bringing the local community together.
"Anyone is welcome to join us on the day and all they need to bring with them is a comfortable pair of shoes."
Local Walking the Way to Health representatives will be supervising the walkers on the day and anyone interested in taking part should contact Carole Davis on 01254 690104.
