WELL done to Lee Bracewell for his comments on police speed cameras (Letters, September 23). I have said the same for a long time.

As lots of people know, if you phone for police assistance for any reason, they tell you they are very busy and someone will be there as soon as they can. On lots of occasions they never come at all.

But they can spend hours of police time every day making lots of money out of catching drivers going in some cases just a couple of miles an hour over the limit.

It's no wonder people have no time for the police any more.
