A MAN and his dog were rescued by a lifeboat off the coast of Lytham.
Blackburn market trader Colin Hodgson, 55, and his border collie Penny were on a 20ft cruiser when its rudder broke but fortunately lifeboat crews were on hand to tow the stricken vessel ashore.
