REGARDING parking near Blackburn Infirmary, I agree with Rob Wilcock (Letters, October 16) that staff and visitors should not have to pay.
But if they had bigger and better parking facilities at the Infirmary people would not have to park on the side streets.
Many a time I have been when both car parks were full, so where else can you park?
And if you have an appointment you do not want to be driving round for ages until a parking space becomes free as this then will cause you to miss your appointment and have to wait even longer.
I sympathise with local residents, but due to the inadequate parking facilities at the hospital, I think this is a situation that will never be resolved.
