BURNLEY Football Club has launched a set of player card for young people which carry important information on issues including racial discrimination and community safety.
The club has produced the cards in conjunction with the Burnley Community Safety Partnership.
They will be available from various place, including Turf Moor Leisure Centre on match days, the information centre, community wardens, fire and police community support officers, Turf Moor In Town and the Club Souvenir shop.
They will also be distributed by the club's community team, which visits schools and local organisations in their quest to promote awareness and eliminate racial abuse, discrimination and anti-social behaviour.
PC Kerry Hulme, from Burnley community safety partnership, said: "We have taken this opportunity to highlight issues surrounding community safety with each card endorsing a different message relating to issues surrounding community safety.
"By launching the cards during Anti Racism in Football week, we are taking a stand against racism and clearly demonstrating that racism will not be tolerated."
