GUINNESS flowed in Accrington when 16 members of the Omagh branch of Accrington Stanley fan club visited the town.
The club, formed in March, has a membership of 41 adults and four youth members.
Irish fans met staff at the club and were treated to drinks at Accrington town hall before seeing their team lose 2-1 to Exeter. There was a special treat for chairman Paddy Campbell's son Orin, who led the team out for the match kitted out in his Stanley shirt. Paddy said: "All the lads really enjoyed it., we were just so happy to be there."
At half time the Omagh club presented Stanley with a cheque for £1,000, raised through various events in Ireland. Then it was on to the Stanley club house for a karaoke evening with a chance to meet manager John Coleman and some of the squad.
