Aaron Smith is revving up for a serious assault on some silverware on the national and international stage.
For the 13-year-old motocross rider has just scooped four championship trophies on the Northern race circuit -- and now he is aiming for bigger and better things.
The Rhyddings High School pupil retained the Cumbria and Northern Centre Championships for the second year running and added the East Cumbria and Northern Youth to his ever increasing list of titles.
Aaron has now stepped up to the Big Wheel 85cc class having dominated the Small Wheel category for the past two years.
But dad David said he may not be stopping around for too long as he already has his sights set on the 125cc series.
David Smith said: "Aaron has done brilliantly for the past two years and is hoping to repeat that in his new class once the next season starts in February.
"He's dominated the local scene so we might concentrate on the national events now and may even try racing in Europe."
Aaron, who has been riding since he was three-years-old, will be competing in British Motocross Championships as well as the Ken Winstanley Series.
Aaron has finished fifth and eighth in the last two British Motocross Championships -- something his dad thinks his son can improve on.
