A WELL-TAKEN first half goal from Oliver Braddock clinched victory for Mosley Common United U11s in a close local derby with Leigh RMI.
United's man of the match was Daniel Goncalves with good performances from keeper Daniel Holland, Hayley Langford and Ryan Miles who cleared two shots off the line.
Leigh's star man was Josh Burton who was well supported by Jaques Grundy and Sam Strickland.
The two sides meet again in the cup on Saturday.
