HINDSFORD had a comfortable 11-4 away win at Whitworth Valley on Saturday.
Hindsford opened the scoring when Ryan Willet's clever ball found Mark Morris who set up Des Morris to finish the move. Whitworth quickly equalised when a long ball caught out the Hindsford defence and Oliver Marshall rounded the keeper to score. Hindsford soon regained the lead with a Dave Fashou goal, Neil Critchley added a third and goals from Mark Morris and Ryan Willet made it 5-1 at half time.
The second half saw Hindsford adding to their lead at regular intervals with goals from Fashou (2), Steve Carvey (2) and Critchley. Whitworth manged to reduce the lead with goals from Marshall,Woodruff and Leslie but Simon Hampson finished the scoring with a header in the closing minutes.
On Saturday both teams play Hollinwood, the 1st team are at home, kick off 2pm.
