NELSON and Colne College is holding an information session for parents who want to protect their child while they are surfing on the net.
The session, organised in conjunction with Parents Online - a government organisation set up to help parents understand the role of information technology in learning - will concentrate on safety and reliable sources of homework help. Staff will be on hand to discuss concerns and give advice.
Children and the Net is a free, drop-in session, which is being held at DISC, in the Linden Business Centre, in Colne, on Tuesday, December 9, from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Anyone unable to attend on December 9 can find out more about similar events from Peter on 01282 865025.
