FANS of Kathleen Ferrier from across the globe arrived in Blackburn to mark the 40th anniversary of the singer's death.
A packed programme of events to mark the anniversary weekend included talks and a re-run of a 1968 TV documentary.
Visitors also attended the opening of an exhibition at Blackburn Museum.
