POLICE have appealed for information on the driver of a Toyota Corolla which collided with two vehicles in Whalley Old Road, Great Harwood, last night.

Police said the red car, registered E868 PHB, pulled out from a minor road into the path of two other vehicles around 9.15pm.

They said the driver left the vehicle and ran from the scene.

His two passengers, both Asian males, received minor injuries and were treated at Blackburn Royal Infirmary. They were today being interviewed by police.

Deborah Hartley, 38, of Oakwood Avenue, Blackburn, whose Ford Puma was involved in the collision did not require hospital treatment.

Howard Fish, 32, of Bridge Terrace, Whalley, whose Vauxhall Astra was also hit, suffered facial cuts.
