REGULAR Arthur Pugh turned on the Bulls Head festive lights as reward for 33 years of daily visits to the Astley pub.
The only days Arthur has missed in that time have been closures for refurbishments or repairs to his local.
Now best customer Arthur has received a Christmas present voucher entitling him to 100 pints of his favourite tipple, Worthington's, which he puts on a par with Bolton Wanderers.
The switch on started a Christmas run-in which will include a quiz, carol concert, a Christmas Eve warm up party and a games night.
Arthur's favourite tipple is Worthington's and he is an avid Wanderers' supporter.
Ember Inns manager, Carmel Smith said: "Arthur is one of our best regulars and we have the privilege of his company every day.
"We could think of no better Christmas gift for Arthur than a voucher entitling him to have a pint a day at the pub for the next 100 days, so he will be able to drink in here for free well into the New Year."
