I'M glad Paul Gallagher started the game against Spurs this Saturday. It was long overdue. Souness keeps saying positive things about Paul, and yet seemed reluctant to take the plunge.
Well he obviously knows he's ready by naming him in the starting line-up. If you're good enough, you're old enough, and younger players than Paul have been given their chance by other clubs.
Sadly Jansen doesn't seem to have made the progress hoped for, and despite a run in the side, hasn't really threatened teams as he used to in the past.
Paul however, does look the part, and whenever he has played, his contribution has been noticeable. Let him loose.
NOEL EKE,
Blackamoor.
