BOOTHSTOWN U12s made hard work of beating Hale Barns 'B' 3-2.
Leading 3-0 at half time with two goals from Andy Woodhouse and an own goal, Boothstown seemed to be in the driving seat.
Hale Barns dragged themselves back into the match and almost snatched a point when they hit the post.
Boothstown hung on to take the points with Mike Smith winning the Boothstown Man of the Match award.
