EMILY Henthorn, Leigh Harriers' sole competitor in the indoor sportshall league, put in a series of first class performances.
Emily, 10, started off in the one lap 'A' race and finished fifth, recording a time of 15.6 seconds.
Straight after her one-lap race Emily set about the vertical jump competition and with her first attempt, achieving a pb of 35 cm. Emily equalled that on her third and final jump to take second place in the 'A' group on countback.
She repeated that performance in the standing long jump competition, recording her second pb of the day with a leap of 1.60m.
