TWO thugs battered and robbed a man as he walked home on Tuesday night (Jan 27).
The 21-year-old victim suffering bruising and swelling to his face and head as a result of the attack which happened at 9.45pm in George Street, Prestwich.
The victim was walking along the road when he was approached by two offenders who punched him about the head and demanded money.
The man did not hand over any cash, but his mobile phone was stolen.
The offenders were described as white males, around 17-years-old, and wore dark clothing and dark navy blue baseball caps.
