NELSON came away from Flixton shaking their heads in disbelief having outplayed the form team of the Second Division, but gained only a single point.
The Blues took the lead after only five minutes when Lee Coldridge forced the ball home and new signing Ian McLellan headed Craig Bradshaw's corner into the roof of the net after 31 minutes.
Flixton came back strongly after half time and pulled a goal back through Anthony Hargreaves on 48 minutes before equalising through Gary Bricknell after 64 minutes.
