POLICE warned Blackburn and Darwen licensees about 'slip catch' burglars following audacious raids on three public houses and a confectioner's shop within a quarter of a mile radius of the Grimshaw Park area of Blackburn.
They were urged to guard against strangers who might buy a drink so they can plan how to break in or even release a window catch to make entry during the night.
