THE Rossendale Lions Club has distributed £3,000 raised throughout last year's fund-raising mission to good causes.
The funds, raised by the Christmas Sleigh Collection 2003, have been donated to seven charities.
The good causes that benefited from the money were as follows:
Rossendale Hospice - £1,000
Macmillan Nurses, Pendle and Rossendale - £500
Age Concern Handyman's Service - £300
Rainbow Trust - £300
Rawtenstall Cricket Club Juniors - £200
First Responders - £500
Cancer Research, Whitworth - £200.
