A MISSING parrot which can whistle the The Great Escape theme tune may have sought refuge in Bury.
Bird lover Shirley Badland has offered a £1,000 reward for the safe return of her African grey called Floyd, which can also imitate ringtones.
It flew off from her mother's home in Egerton, and a bird of a similar description was reported to have been seen in Bury. Anyone who spots the parrot should call 07788-677202.
