FIREBUGS are believed to have caused a blaze inside an empty semi-detached property in Glendevon Place, Whitefield.
The outbreak gutted a downstairs bathroom and caused extensive damage to the remainder of the unused house. Arson is suspected.
Fire crews from Whitefield and Broughton fought the blaze which broke out at 7pm on Wednesday (April 21) and were at the scene for an hour.
