Not hitting our screens until August this one but it is already getting a lot of interest from around the world.
Set against the backdrop of a rainy day in Kokata , Manoj (Ajay) sets out on a journey which will finally lead him to an old flame - Niru (Aishwarya). Wearing his friend's old raincoat memories are evoked of a time when things were just a little bit different.
There's plenty of flashbacks and what might have beens and unlike other Bollywood films of late the storyline isn't sacrificed in a bid to liven up the movie.
It is not the first time Aishwarya and Ajay have teamed up and following in the footsteps of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam there are plenty of reasons for them to be happy with the finished product.
The film is doing the rounds at a host of film festivals at the moment and highly rated Bengali Director Ritupamo Ghosh is hoping for big things.
RAINCOAT: Starring: Ajay Devgan, Aishwarya Rai, Mouli Ganguly,
Directed by: Rituparno Ghosh
