WITH regard to the 'Devil's Elbow' bend on the A671 between Whalley and Read, why not improve the bend by removing some of the trees and foliage from the inside curve of the bend, so that on approach drivers can visualise how sharp it is and plan ahead before they get caught out half way around it?
