PENDLE residents are being invited to Ballgrove Park, Colne, for a family fun day.
The event will take place on Sunday, October 10, between 11 am and 3pm and will have everything from fairground rides through to badge-making for all the family to enjoy.
Other activities taking place on the day include a wildlife treasure hunt, nature and history walks, pond dipping and a "Scruffs" competition with categories including the shaggiest dog, the happiest dog, the best condition dog and puppies aged six to12 months.
The event has been organised by the newly formed Friends of Ballgrove Park.
Sameera Ashgar, of Pendle Parks, Cemeteries and Outdoor Recreation department, said: "The day is to show people the delights of Ballgrove and the newly restored Upper Ballgrove Lodge."
