PUPILS and staff are celebrating after their Clitheroe school received a facelift -- thanks to a £250,00 refurbishment.
Building work at Barrow Primary School has included a replacement classroom, new computerised library, a school hall and an Information Computer Technology suite.
The addition of a hall means the school can now house a pre-school playgroup, after-school provision and the 119 pupils no longer have to be taken to another school by bus for PE lessons.
Parents are also being offered computer courses to help them keep up with their children's computer skills.
Headteacher Christine Marchi said: "We are absolutely delighted with our new facilities. The ICT suite will make a huge difference for our staff and pupils.
"We remain a small village school with a caring ethos.
" I hope the local community will gain just as much from the new developments as our staff and pupils."
There will be an open day to view the finished work on October 7 from 2pm-7pm.
