BACUP secured another three points to close the gap on NWC League One leaders Fleetwood.
Lee Connell gave Bacup the lead after 26 minutes, but Formby were level on 42 minutes when they scored from a free-kick.
Bacup regained the lead through a Connell header before half-time and they cruised to success in the second half.
New signing Billy McCartney went close to scoring before two strikes by Lee Wilkinson wrapped up three points.
