FOUNDER members returned to Lowton WI to celebrate the group's 40th anniversary.
The six ladies were presented with certificates and flowers to mark the occasion at which Dorothy Finch read out the minutes of the first ever meeting.
Kathy Hadland added a piece on events the group had organised over the years and president Ruth Baines read a fitting poem.
At the October meeting on Wednesday (6th) at 7.15pm in Golborne High School the speaker is Chandra Law on "Batik". New members welcome.
