VOLUNTEERS and community groups in Hindley and Abram will get a pat on the back at a thank-you celebration next month.
To mark their dedicated work for the community there'll be a big "thank you" event at The Monaco Ballroom on Wednesday, October 13 from 6-8 pm.
It's the latest in a series of similar events taking place throughout Wigan borough providing the opportunity for volunteers, community and voluntary organisations and sponsors to get together and celebrate what they have achieved.
