PUPILS from three schools worked in partnership to take on a series of tough problem solving, team building and business related challenges.

Students from Bedford, Leigh St Mary's RC and Westleigh High Schools worked in cross school teams to solve a code breaking poser, a challenge to get over a wall avoiding a minefield and another to design a marketing campaign to convince customers that pizza was a new health food.

It was all part of Enterprise Day 2004 at the Anderton Centre, Rivington, organised by Bedford as part of their community work as a specialist college of business and enterprise.

Community manager at Bedford, Abbie Hilton said: "It was great to see students from different schools working together in teams to complete some really hard challenges. The day was very enjoyable."
