HINDSFORD Reserves maintained their fine run of form beating Hollinwood 4- 1.
Hindsford started well and took a deserved lead when Jonny Morris hit a powerful effort into the far corner. Morris made it two when he controlled a Marc Osman cross and fired into the bottom corner.
The second half followed the same pattern and Neil Harvey made it three, taking advantage of a defensive mistake. Morris hit the cross bar before Gary Parker got the fourth when the keeper dropped a fierce shot from Dez Morris.
Hollinwood managed a consolation goal but the Hindsford defence with Richard Howarth, Mark Redmond and Mark Howarth in outstanding form were rarely troubled.
On Saturday the first team is at home to Blackrod Town in the Lancashire
Amateur Shield, ko 2pm.The reserves are away to Springhead, ko 2.30pm.
