PUPILS of the former Stand Grammar School in Whitefield are to be remembered in a special history project.
Old boy Tony Wilding is compiling a history of the Old Standians Association which celebrates its centenary in 2006.
Mr Wilding is the honorary secretary of the association and is appealing for members to donate any documentary evidence of the group since its foundation in 1906.
Mr Wilding is particularly looking for early copies of the association annual reports prior to 1933 and the minute book for 1906 to 1928. Any items donated would be returned.
