SLAUGHTERMEN scattered when a two year-old bullock went berserk and cleared four 5ft gates between Blackburn Corporation abattoir in Sumner Street and nearby railway sidings, before starting an eight-mile chase. Three abattoir hands were given a lift on a passenger train to catch it.
