ASTLEY & Tyldesley Road Runners completed their first cross country season with a injury hit team.
Tony Battersby finished an impressive 11th overall in the four race series, Nick White 22nd, Gary Stevens 26th and Craig Bradbury 31st. The majority of the team could not complete the series due to injury or illness although the club still finished a respectable 6th overall.
Brian Lucas ran in the Longbridge 7 Mile, finishing 28th in 46 mins 14secs, Lorraine Lucas finished 101st in 53.11 secs.
Mike Entwistle and Shaun Moran have been officially placed the top veteran runners in the country over 10 miles for 2004. Mike Entwistle finished the year the sixth fastest V55 and Shaun Moran 51st V45.
