SINGING the praises of Bury Lions!
That is Bury Hospice which has taken delivery of a £750 cheque from the club.
The Lions sponsored the hospice's recent week-long series of Festival of Voices concerts which climaxed with a successful Songs from the Shows at Radcliffe Civic Suite. Hospice officials were delighted with the amount of sponsorship cash.
Throughout the week-long celebration, concerts were held at Bury Parish Church, St Thomas's Church in Radcliffe, Bacco restaurant in Bury and at the town's Bolton Road Methodist Church.
