OBJECTORS to a proposed waste transfer station in Darwen have officially lodged their protest to the plans.
Sudell ward councillor Paul Browne handed over a petition and letters to the council's planning committee on behalf of residents.
More than 280 people supported an email and letter campaign launched by two residents to try to prevent the proposals for Goose House Lane.
The plans have been submitted by Lancashire County Council and there will now be a 16-week consultation period.
