I AM appealing for information on a book I am writing. Provisionally entitled 'Pierrepoint: A Family of Executioners', it chronicles the history of a family who carried out executions between 1901-1955.
Albert Pierrepoint was the last in a dynasty of hangmen.
He was the landlord of The Rose and Crown at Much Hoole on the A59.
I wonder if readers can help with my research.
