A FAST growing manufacturing company has won the first grant awarded in the borough to help its expansion programme.
Hilltop Products Ltd, of Golborne, which specialises in electrical insulation and sleevings, is the first to benefit from SFI, Selective Finance for Investment in England, a scheme that supports new capital investment projects leading to improvements in productivity, skills and employment.
The North West Development Agency grant, which is part of a £242,000 capital investment programme, will help the company buy new property and equipment.
