THE "Spirit of Barcelona" has arrived Leigh in the form of a new exhibition in the Turnpike Gallery.
The show, which runs until April 9, shows aspects of Spanish history that are often overlooked.
It offers a unique opportunity to see the work of two key figures in 20th century art and literature on tour for the first time in the UK. From the Hatton Gallery, University of Newcastle, the exhibition features the text works of Joan Brossa and expressive visual responses from his friend. Antoni Tapies
A programme of workshops will accompany the exhibition.
