AN APPLICATION for a speed camera on Bolton Road, Radcliffe has been submitted to Greater Manchester Casualty Reduction Partnership.
The borough engineer for Bury Council has written to the partnership to request that an application be submitted to the Department for Transport for the establishment of a fixed speed camera.
The Bury Council request is supported by collision records and speed survey data compiled by Bury MBC's Traffic Management and Road Safety Services.
A decision will be made over the next few weeks.
