COUNCIL leader Kate Hollern tells us (LET, March 25) that the new public service agreement will generate a huge influx of money which will lead to real improvements to the lives of local people and benefit all our citizens.
Does this mean the threatened closure of NVCs classes such as china pottery painting, will not take place and Blackburn Sea Cadets will receive help to find new premises?
Or will the wants of the citizens be ignored and the money, as is usual, squandered on such things as tram lines, cobbled (setts) streets, monuments, tin trees, panopticons etc, things that most citizens appear not to need?
