STUDENTS who are savouring their first taste of running their own mini-companies will take part in the Bury area board final of Young Enterprise later this month.
The event, which will also feature stands displaying the goods manufactured and sold by the youngsters, will take place at the Elizabethan Suite, Bury, on Thursday, April 14, beginning at 5pm.
Throughout the past few months, schools and colleges have been involved in Young Enterprise. Students have sold shares, established their own mini-companies and have been making and selling their own goods.
At the same time, they have received vital guidance and assistance from members of the local business community.
