COMMENTING on Veritas candidate Ian Upton's letter (March 25) "Blame fly-tipping on the EU", I remember in my councillor years we had more than enough fly tipping and litter problems before any EU regulations affected waste disposal. Incidentally given much furniture is now MDF, the less burnt in unregulated conditions the better.
Funny that anti-EU Veritas uses for its title: Latin the language of European unity above all others.
